David Collenette served 21 years as a Member of Parliament, holding senior cabinet portfolios under three Prime Ministers, including Minister of National Defence and Minister of Transport. He was instrumental in Canada’s post-Cold War defence policies and coordinated the landmark Operation Yellow Ribbon in response to 9/11. Today, as Chair of the NATO Association of Canada, he continues to shape public understanding of NATO’s role in global security.
