Dana Brown

Dana Brown is a senior executive and academic leader with experience spanning global technology companies and higher education. She has held leadership roles at Amazon and previously served as Dean of the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University, where she led initiatives related to innovation, digital strategy, and organizational transformation.

Dana brings expertise in leadership development, commercialization strategy, and bridging academic and industry ecosystems to support economic growth and talent development. Her experience includes working across complex organizations to translate strategic priorities into operational outcomes.

Within the RDII project, Dana provides strategic advisory support related to leadership development, ecosystem engagement, and alignment between commercialization activities and broader innovation capacity.
